I am surprised at the angry reactions from a few people on this board. I don't need more ways to waste time in my life. After you step through the installer and launch Snagit for the first time you'll be presented with the screen that lets you sign-in to start your trial or enter a product key if you've already purchased. In my opinion, there is nothing to complain about. There is no information on how to generate one.

If you purchase the program, you can use your videos for whatever you wish. No activation key was sent to me. There are restrictions if you want to use the videos you create prior to purchase. There is nothing further to download or install. Along with a brief description of the trial rules.

Everything seems to push me to try to buy it. . You would see this pop up when you go to render the video in the Trial version. So you would need to save the project and all related media.
